Factors of mortality of patients with schizophrenia in Moscow (2007-2013, respectively)

The author has studied the case histories of 296 deceased schizophrenic patients in the archives of the psychiatric hospitals of Moscow, during the period 2007-2013. He describes socio-demographic conditions and clinical and therapeutic factors of morbidity of schizophrenic patients. It was demonstrated that the family and social disadvantages, catatonic and shift-like schizophrenia, duration of a disease more than 10 years, permanent occupational disability, urgent hospitalization, polypragmasy can be pejorative forecast for schizophrenic patients.
