Hydrothermal conditions for the formation of potato yields in the Kola North

Murmansk region within the area of cold and humid climate Fennoscandia is characterized by unfavorable conditions for the cultivation of potatoes. The results of the system analysis of the cooperative infl uence of air temperature and atmospheric precipitation on the productivity of the crop are given. It is shown that the formation of potato yields in the Arctic Circle is performed under a peculiar combination of meteorological conditions - a relatively low air temperatures during the growing season and a lot of precipitation.
