The mining industry - an industry which is widely used crushing equipment. A high level of danger different crushing and grinding processes that involve the use of massive grinding equipment for destruction, crushing and grinding of raw materials with the use of various mechanical loads. This equipment possesses a high risk because of their work is accompanied by high mechanical loads and the centripetal accelerations, a high level of noise and vibration. The current industrial safety requirements are far from perfect. In this paper, the basic aspects of industrial safety grinding equipment in the mining industry were treated. The main technical standards governing safety standards in the industry were analyzed. According to the analyzed data it should be noted that the existing security requirements in the areas of crushing and grinding focused primarily on the requirements for the organization of the process and to a lesser extent related to the control and supervision of the technical condition of the mills and crushers.
