Hoisting machines are heavily exploited almost on most modern production facilities industries. High cyclic loads, uneven working hours, as well as failure to comply with the technology of handling operations give rise to deformations of the side walls of the box-like cranes. That is why the use of the repair deformations of the side walls is an important event for the industrial safety of dangerous industrial objects, using cranes. This article is devoted to the repair of the side walls of the crane boom box when using the installation of stiffeners. The main approaches that are used for industrial safety of cranes during such repairs were presented. Thus, the repair of deformations of the side walls of the crane boom box by setting the ribs is a very important measure in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of cranes. Development of new safety requirements in this area is very important.
