Providing the industrial safety of hazardous production facilities is an important task, which is regulated at the legislative level. Some of these objects includes hazardous production facilities, which are operated underground pipelines. Insulation monitoring of underground pipelines is one of the main measures to protect against corrosion. This article is devoted to assessing the state of the underground pipeline insulation with megger. The main features of the control of isolation of underground pipeline were analyzed. In summary, it should be noted that the assessment of the state of insulation of underground pipeline by measuring the resistance Megger is an important aspect of industrial safety of hazardous production facilities. The development of new technologies to enhance the control of isolation is an important task that requires an immediate solution.
