Technological design of the waveguide t-slot directional coupler: characteristics and practical application

The results of electrodynamic modeling and experimental characteristics of the waveguide directional coupler with the T-shaped coupling element are presented. Considers the issues of high-tech manufacturing unit, which allows to significantly simplify the design, to minimize the impact of manufacturing tolerances on electrical parameters, to improve weight and size and operational figure and reduce cost in the production. Shown the possibility of practical realization of some microwave devices based on T-shaped coupling element of waveguides.
