In this article are related the questions to the analysis of indicators of functioning of metallurgical machines and mechanisms. Basic provisions of this article are connected with features of formation and development information model of the metallurgical machine ― virtual system of types and parameters technical conditions for the concrete mechanism. In article are considered different types and methods of expeditious diagnostics which are applied to filling of information model and an assessment of technical condition of elements of the metallurgical equipment.
