A comparative analysis of the use of acupuncture and computer reflexotherapy for the rehabilitative treatment of patients with chronic autoimmune thyroiditis, hypothyroidism

Chronic autoimmune thyroiditis, hypothyroidism is a common thyroid disease in women of reproductive age. At present, the pathogenetic treatment of this pathology does not exist. Widely used hormone replacement therapy is only symptomatic orientation and in 43% of cases has a number of side effects. Treatment should be carried out continuously and for life, with a gradual increase in the dose of thyroid hormones. All this leads to the need of finding a new how medication and non-drug methods of rehabilitation treatment of chronic autoimmune thyroiditis, hypothyroidism. Comparative assessment of application of the method of reflexotherapy for the rehabilitative treatment of patients with chronic autoimmune thyroiditis, hypothyroidism showed its high efficiency, which is expressed in early stages of relief of clinical manifestations of the disease, in restoring the hormonal status and reduced activity of autoimmune process in the thyroid gland.
