Background/Objectives: Identification of medico-social and medico-organizational risk factors for mature infants with low birth weight and developing recommendations for the prevention of this disease Methods/Statistical analysis: 106 infants were examined, of which 76 were at term weight less than 2500 grams, and 30 full-term infants with normal overall weight, made up the control group. Infants with developmental anomalies and obvious clinic manifestations of intrauterine infection were excluded from the study. A questionnaire for multivariate analysis has been developed. Findings: The majority of full-term infants are born with low birth weight due to the high degree of perinatal risk and the combined influence of adverse factors. Data analysis allowed to characterize the socio-hygienic portrait of mothers who gave birth to children with low birth weight, a contingent of high socio-hygienic and medical-organizational risk. Applications/Improvements: Women who gave birth to children with low birth suffer from insufficient examination, late and irregular attendance monitoring in the antenatal clinic, the presence of bad habits. Thus, these women have to be in focus of the women's clinic.

Keywords:full-term infants, women's consultation, prevention, pathology.
