Clinical and epidemiological characteristics of neurological manifestations in premature infants depending on gestational age

The article presents a review of the literature that contains information about domestic and foreign studies on the problem of preterm birth, identifying etiopathogenetic factors leading to spontaneous or induced childbirth earlier the expected date the gestational maturity of the fetus. Also provides statistical information about the level of maternal and infant mortality and on the prevalence of neurological manifestations in premature infants. The conclusion identifies some problematic adaptive, and rehabilitative aspects of neurological diseases in premature infants.
