Work features in the outbreaks of tuberculosis in association with HIV infection

The spread of HIV infection in the different layers of society has its own characteristics, and the combination of HIV and TB is much complicates the process of identifying, monitoring and treatment. The HIV epidemic in the developing world for more than 30 years and for a long time has become a pandemic, taking hundreds of thousands of lives. The total number of people living with the virus, according to the World Health Organization of the human immunodeficiency (HIV) (WHO), is all over the world more than 35.0 million. People, of whom 2.0 million. People have died of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) until 2014. Globally, the HIV epidemic to date has stabilized, although the levels of new HIV infections and deaths from AIDS remains high. The annual number of new HIV infections has decreased slightly from 3.0 mln. People in 2001 to 2.6 million. People in 2009. The situation in the world with HIV can be characterized as a pandemic. According to the number claimed the lives and economic impact of HIV problem can be put on a par with the world wars. This is a major demographic, political and human problems. Conducts an analysis of possible ways of reducing the number of patients with a combination of HIV / TB infections among certain categories of the population. So, were used: an analytical review of statistics on tuberculosis, immunological survey data for the period from 2010 to 2014 and the data in terms of the incidence of HIV / TB branches GKUZ "Moscow City Scientific and Practical Center for Tuberculosis DMD." Based on the analysis of statistical data and studies of patients with HIV / TB infection revealed that the lesions formed by young people, including a large percentage of a drug or alcohol addiction, which greatly complicates the treatment. Coverage of the survey on HIV patients with tuberculosis should be complete. In establishing HIV co-infection further examination, treatment and isolation of the patient from the source should take place in specialized units, excluding contact with patients with active tuberculosis. In view of the spread of HIV infection among the population of Russia phthisiology necessary during the examination of any outbreak of tuberculosis to establish the presence or absence of HIV infection in the patient and contact persons. Coverage of the survey on HIV patients with tuberculosis should be complete. In establishing HIV co-infection further examination, treatment and isolation of the patient from the source should take place in specialized units, excluding contact with patients with active tuberculosis.
