Reflexotherapy in the complex treatment of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee

In the structure of degenerative joint disease osteoarthritis of the knee is a leader. Osteoarthritis of the knee in 8 to 21% of cases leads to a significant reduction in the health and disability of people of working age. Timely and effective treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee joints becomes a significant social and economic importance, which in turn dictates the need to find new medication and non-pharmacological treatments of this disease. One non-drug methods of treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee joints is the method of reflexology. The comparative evaluation of the use of acupuncture in complex treatment of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee joints showed its high efficiency compared to drug therapy.
