Today pediatric dentistry stands out as a separate discipline of General dentistry, goal setting is the prevention and timely treatment of diseases of the oral cavity, which a priori implies the improvement of the dental status, including the prevention and treatment of common dental diseases such as dental caries, periodontitis and gingivitis, subsequent complications and dentoalveolar anomalies in the total population of Russia on the whole.
