Estimation of the ecological state of territory of Sokolovskyof petroleum pits (Astrakhan region) by the method of fitoindication

Pollution of soils with oil and oil products is a very common type of negative anthropogenic impact, especially in industrial regions of Russia. An assessment was made of the ecological condition of the territory of the Sokolovskoye oil fields by the bioindication method (fluctuating asymmetry) according to the methodology of Russian scientists Yablokov A.V., Zakharov V.M., 1996, the methodology is based on the theory that the difference between the left and right halves of the leaf correlates with the degree of general disturbance of the environment. As a bioindicator used elm small-leaved, black mulberry, large burdock, nightshade black, broad-leaved quinoa, silver fir. Estimating the degree of fluctuating asymmetry in the territory of the Sokolovskoye oil fields in the Astrakhan region, the work shows that the plants in the oil-polluted zone are in critical condition, and the territory itself is assessed as environmentally unfavorable.
