The article presents an overview and comparative analysis of applied information management models in social networks. The article reveals the potential for analyzing social networks, as well as the scope for modeling information impact. Probabilistic models of information influence are considered: the model of bipolar choice and the model of the pre-election struggle. In this paper, models of random graph generation and non-scale networks are presented. The notion of the Markov model of information control, the matrix of influences is given. Also, the criterion of management effectiveness is defined. The use of the Markov model of information influence is shown to maximize the revenue of the control center. The results of simulation carried out using real opinions of the agents of the network, when choosing different strategies are presented. The paper provides a comparative analysis of strategies for selecting agents, while implementing information management.
