The article reveals the national characteristics and regulatory trends of pharmacy licensing in foreign countries. Common trends of pharmaceutical market’ state regulation are generalized. The specific use of modern methods and instruments of pharmacy state regulation in developing countries are analyzed. Based on a brief analysis of pharmacy licensing problems in Russia author developed and offered the main directions and measures to improve the Russian model of pharmacy licensing.
