Conceptualization of a mechanism for the planning and forecasting of regional socio-economic development

This article considers the relevance and methodological approach to a mechanism for the planning and forecasting of regional socio-economic development in modern societies. Therefore, this article defines in detail the planning stages and discusses the complex interdependence of factors influencing the strategic and long-term planning of regional development. Furthermore, this article proposes a roadmap for the practical realization of the mechanism for the planning and forecasting of regional socio-economic development.
