The struggle for leadership in the oil futures market

The stock market of oil and oil products was formed for quite a considerable time, and until the late 70's attempts to implement certain types of operations with these goods regularly failed. It was quite predictable, since both the production and refining have been in the hands of the international oil monopolies. Such a high degree of monopolization has led to significant changes in market relations, distorting the market pricing principle.
