The paradox of time is that the universal recognition of its existence so far, three thousand years, does not give its general scientific interpretation. We need some methodological «shake-up», and it is proposed in this article. As a result of a critical analysis of historical and philosophical material, the article justifies the introduction of the following methodological foundation: time becomes a real subject of actual physical and philosophical reflection if it is regarded as a fundamental property in a special way interpreted Reality and, in principle, – in contrast to Being as real for us, But also independent of us, the Universe, the Universe, Nature. It is about the reality of humanity as part of Being in its history, culture, means and ways of its (Reality) development and use.
