The image of birds in the traditional culture of Altatis

in the article images of birds in folklore of Altaians are considered. The image of birds occupies a special place in the heroic tales, tales and beliefs of the Altaians. Like all living on the earth, so does the bird has its place in the cult of the Altai people. Many birds are totems of some genera and tribes of Southern Siberia. Birds in myths and fairy tales of Altai people are completely like people. Birds have a variety of functions, they can be cultural heroes, demiurges, shaman mounts, heroes - turned into birds, etc.
