Major trends in the venture investment market in Russia to 2017

This article is devoted to the description of the current trends in the market of venture financing, which, according to the Russian venture investment Association, in 2017 there have been positive changes. In particular, the total capitalization of venture capital funds has increased. At the same time, some decrease in the activity of market participants is largely cyclical. Against the background of the growth forecasts of the number of venture capital funds with state participation and the positive results of the activities of the leading player in the market – the Fund for the development of Internet initiatives, the author concludes that it is advisable to continue the policy of state support of the industry.
