First steps to formation of organization bodies in Russia

The article examines the historical aspects of legislative regulation of the Russian criminal procedure legislation of the XVI-XVII centuries, an analysis of the articles of the Code of Laws and orders of the 15th-17th centuries determining the terms of the preliminary investigation, as well as the procedure for conducting separate investigative and procedural actions in the production preliminary investigation and police inquiry.
