Peculiarities of participation of minor-persons in the civil procedure

This article discusses the features of the legal status of minors in relation to participation in civil proceedings. Different points of view on the definition of the concept of a minor and the norms of legislation regulating the participation of children in legal proceedings are analyzed. Particular attention is drawn to the legal framework for the protection of the rights of minors. Based on an analysis of the legislation, the author comes to the conclusion that often the norms of the law establishing the rights of children do not contain procedures for the practical realization of these rights. It justifies the idea that at the present time minors whose legal capacity is directly provided for by substantive law are deprived of their procedural legal capacity.
