Transport crime in Russia 2019–2020: trends and forecasts

Minimization of criminogenic threats to the safety of transport structures is a priority of the preventive activities of internal affairs bodies. To assess the effective-ness of crime prevention, the article presents a statistical analysis of the characteristics of transport crime in the Russian Federation, as well as identifies trends in its possible development. The structure of registered crimes by categories is considered, the analysis and visualization of the dynamics of certain types of crimes committed in transport since 2013 are given.
