A retrospective look at the institution of judicial conciliators

Federal law of 26.07.2019 N 197-FZ "on amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation" includes the Institute of "judicial reconciliation"in the Civil procedure code of the Russian Federation. The article describes similar institutions that operated in pre-revolutionary Russia.
