The place of the distribution contract in the system of civil law contracts of the Russian Federation.

The article gives a definition of a distribution contract, considers the issue of correlation of a distribution contract with the mixed contracts and the contracts not named in the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, considers the problem of recognition of a distribution contract as a mixed contract. The article contains a conclusion about the independent character of a distribution contract, based on the purpose of its conclusion and makes a conclusion about expediency of entering norms that regulate peculiarities of distribution contract into the Civil Code of Russian Federation.
