The article presents a description of the features of the formation of a digital ecosystem in the service sector, which is associated with the specifics of the service sector, the formation of new knowledge-intensive business services, the need for complementarity and the special nature of competition between ecosystem participants. The principles of the processes of forming a digital ecosystem in the service sector are formulated, the implementation of which will allow companies to successfully implement changes in the business model and all activities.
