The scientific article examines the gender features of the relationship between educational motivation, the phenomenon of "student involvement", the level of accumulated competencies, satisfaction with learning and academic success of medical university graduate students. It was revealed that the academic success of graduates of the Faculty of Medicine is higher than graduates and does not depend on the form of education. Monitoring student engagement, motivation, competence and student satisfaction is necessary to increase the success of graduates of the Faculty of Medicine, especially men.
