SOME FEATURES OF THE THEORY AND PRACTICE OF CALCULATING PRODUCTION CAPACITY AND FORMING A PRODUCTION PROGRAM OF INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISE

The calculation of production capacity and the development of the production program are directly related. In turn, the production capacity acts as the most important characteristic of the production potential of an industrial enterprise associated with solving the problems of future economic development. In the economic and regulatory reference literature, the capacity of the production potential (MPP) of an enterprise is often referred to as the production capacity (PM) of an enterprise. In our research, we are of the opinion that this is not entirely true. Currently, an industrial enterprise is a complex of means of production that can combine several sub–divisions: first of all, divisions directly related to the production of products, as well as design divisions, construction divisions, marketing services, social facilities, etc. (moreover, the latter do not affect the ability of the enterprise to produce products). Consequently, it can be concluded that this ability (the ability to produce products) forms the exclusive production potential of the enterprise. Based on the above, we are not talking about the capacity of the entire enterprise, but about the capacity of the production potential of the enterprise. The article discusses some features of the scheme of determining the capacity of the production potential of an industrial enterprise.
