The article explores and analyzes the negative social phenomenon of "prostitution". This phenomenon is considered as an object contributing to the rooting of criminogenic social processes that affect the intensification of criminal sexual violence.
In the study, this phenomenon is analyzed in 2 aspects:
1) victimological, due to the fact that persons providing paid sexual services always have a high chance, unlike other categories, of becoming a victim of sexual violence;
2) criminological, because prostitution, in itself, is a negative, antisocial phenomenon.
The purpose of the article is to determine the halo of the negative impact of this social phenomenon on persons providing paid sexual services, on persons who are their consumers and on society as a whole. And also, to prove that only demand generates supply and that prostitution must be eradicated, otherwise, any cultural society will come to an end.
The conclusions were drawn that: the main reason for this phenomenon is not so much the financial issue, as the maximum peak of sexual permissiveness, which leads to debauchery and sexual violence against the "priestess of love" and the degradation of society.
