In modern conditions, it is advisable to pay attention to the development of a unified position on investment cooperation, without violating the existing partnership relations of countries in the Central Asian region. The growing economic potential of the Russia-Central Asia region will create additional conditions for ensuring national interests and protecting economic security. The paper evaluates the factors and strategic priorities of the economic development of the Central Asian countries and Russia in the context of the interface of national interests. The article substantiates the position that the Central Asian countries pursue a multilateral foreign policy, demonstrating their readiness to deepen economic cooperation with all the world's leading players - China, Russia, the USA, Turkey and the EU, while preserving their national interests and national and cultural identity. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the key macroeconomic indicators of the Central Asian countries and the specifics of the implemented national programs that determine the strategic priorities for the development of their economies in the medium and long term. The strategic directions of the development of the economies of the Central Asian countries include: increasing investment potential, diversification of production; development of export and logistics infrastructure; creation of an attractive foreign trade policy; increasing the effectiveness of financial instruments to support the export of non-primary goods.
