The article examines the fundamental approaches to organising restrictive measures in Great Britain, taking into account the historical and legal method of studying the formation of sanctions legislation in the state. The rapid development of sanctions regulation points towards the necessity to analyze the emerging new forms of interaction and, as a consequence, legal collisions that require additional legislative regulation.
