MEDICAL DIPLOMACY AS AN INSTRUMENT OF CUBA'S DIALOGUE WITH THE COUNTRIES OF THE «GLOBAL SOUTH»

The phenomenon of Cuban medical diplomacy is a comprehensive program that is a tool for the development of international relations. Article attempts to analyze the history of the development of medical diplomacy, as well as to identify it’s trends that have changed and persisted. The main result of the work is to identify the importance of the idea of international solidarity, which drives Cuba in the implementation of medical programs.
