SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGIONAL ECONOMY

The article discusses the concept of sustainable development of the regional economy as defined by domestic researchers, and identifies the factors that ensure the sustainable development of the regional economy. Based on the analysis, an author's definition of this concept is provided, with an emphasis on labor potential as a key factor in the formation and sustainable development of the regional economy. The results of the research demonstrate the necessity of developing the labor potential of the region to ensure the sustainability of its economy.
