The article systematizes modern digital technologies that provide a variety of tools and approaches for regular employee assessment and development. Among the large variety, this article describes the following tools and technologies used for personnel assessment and development: performance management systems, platforms for training and development, real-time feedback technologies, analytics tools and artificial intelligence, gamification, mobile applications for self-development, virtual and augmented reality, social platforms for knowledge exchange. The application of artificial intelligence in personnel assessment and development is considered in more detail, which opens up new opportunities to improve the efficiency of these processes. Using the example of large companies Severstal and Sberbank, the practical aspects of using artificial intelligence in personnel assessment and development were considered. The prospects of using artificial intelligence in evaluating the company's personnel are considered. The author comes to the conclusion about the great prospects of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in general in personnel assessment and its development, which will increase the efficiency of personnel management of the enterprise and improve its performance indicators in general.
