Somatic Depression

Somatized depression presents an urgent problem of modern medicine. This is due to the fact that patients with this pathology are observed not only by a psychiatrist, but also make up a quarter of those receiving out-patient medical treatment from other specialties. The complexity of diagnosis and timely detection of somatized depression is determined by a huge range of various complaints made by patients. Recognition of this pathology and the appointment of adequate treatment contribute to improving overall well-being, mood and have a positive impact on the quality of life.
