The introduction of mineral fertilizers improves the nutrition conditions and enhances the development of algae in the soil, but with improper application of mineral fertilizers, a negative effect on the development of algae is possible. It was decided to check the effect of fertilizers on the appearance of S. rubescens and identify their toxicity range. Potassium chloride, urea and superphosphate were chosen as fertilizers. They were tested in KCl concentrations - 1х10-1, 1х10-3, 1х10-2, 3х10-1, 5х10-2, 5х10-3 µ; urea - 1,7, 2x10-1, 2x10-2, 2x10-3, 5x10-1, 8x10-1, 8x10-2, 8x10-3 µ; superphosphate - 2х10-3, 2x10-4, 4х10-4, 4х10-5 µ. The survey was conducted on the 3, 7, 14 and 21 days. Based on the results obtained, a number of toxicity: urea > potassium chloride > superphosphate was established.
