The article is devoted to the peculiarities of hemodynamics, homeostasis and indicators of the effectiveness of inpatient treatment of patients with a local form of odontogenic purulent infection on the background of diabetes mellitus in comparison with a similar group of patients without background diseases. Hemodynamic parameters of patients with diabetes mellitus are characterized by a high level of systolic blood pressure and tachycardia. No statistically significant changes in metabolic parameters (except hyperglycemia) were found. Also, there were no differences in the level of mortality, the number of complications and the duration of treatment. Perhaps this is due to the timely diagnosis and selection of the correct treatment algorithms in a multidisciplinary hospital.
