In Gubkin University the consistent work for computer simulator complexes creation and their usage in educational process is undertaken. These complexes simulate technological processes that occur in oil and gas industry. Experience of their usage in individual and team (as well as cross-disciplinary) study is gained.
In this article it is shown, why traditional simulators, that are used for benefit of industry, are difficult to use in educational process in higher school. Approach for creation of flexible toolkit for the purposes of computer simulator complexes development and adaptation for different modes of study is suggested.
