the High prevalence of dental diseases among people suffering from diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) dictate the need for continuous improvement of dental care to this contingent. The study of the oral cavity of 96 patients with gastrointestinal diseases who are on hospital treatment. High prevalence (100%) and intensity (21.1) of dental caries were revealed. Chronic generalized periodontitis was detected in 98.7% of the examined patients of varying severity. The need for prosthetics of the examined patients was 56.5%. 45.8% of patients need dental treatment.
