Cervical cancer (cervical cancer) takes a leading place among the causes of death from cancer of the female genital organs. A highly informative diagnostic method that allows you to diagnose cancer at an early stage, and even at the stage of precancer, is coloscopy. The article on the individual clinical examples shows the effectiveness of this method in the early diagnosis of cancer. The method allows to detect abnormal colposcopic signs, which are an indication for timely biopsy of the cervix, which allows to detect precancerous processes and cervical cancer with higher accuracy than when only cytological screening is performed. In addition, the necessity of using colposcopy in each case when conducting targeted focal biopsy of the cervix is obvious, which will reduce the number of false-negative results of this method. It is shown that the method continues to improve. An improved laser spectral-fluorescence colposcope (LSFC), various modifications of the colposcope are described
