Orthodontic preparation of the oral cavity for prosthetics

The preparation of the oral cavity for prosthetics plays an important role in the course of orthopedic treatment of patients, as they often come to the orthopedic doctor with a number of issues associated to oral cavity. Dental anomalies, deformations of teeth and dentitions, in most cases complicate further orthopedic treatment. Therefore, without prior orthodontic preparation, it is not always possible to reach high-quality prosthetics. Objective: to study the characteristics and prevalence of dental defects in adult patients, the frequent development of dental deformations, as well as to put together algorithms to treat patients with dental defects and dental deformations in case of complications.
