Craniocerebral injury (CI) is one of the main health problems, because the traumatic brain damage makes many patients disabled and some of them die. The tactics of surgical correction of the depressed skull fractures in children remains a debating point till today. Discussions are held about one-step or two-step restoration of integrity of the damaged bone segment, as well as about the choice of material for reconstructive surgery. Results of treatment of children with the depressed skull fractures and also an original way of plastic reconstruction of a skull are presented in the article (Patent of the Russian Federation No. 2017143056, d/d 12.08.2017).
