Identification, determination of phenotypic antibiotic resistance, genome annotation and the search for antibiotic resistance genes were performed to address the issue of the safe use of three strains of indigenous intestinal lactobacilli as autoprobiotics. As a result of the study the strains were identified as Lactobacillus paracasei 347-16, Lactobacillus plantarum 123-17 and Lactobacillus plantarum 83-18, had typical for lactobacilli phenotypic antibiotic resistance profile, different number of plasmids and a similar set of antibiotic resistance genes located on chromosome.
