Today there is a wide range of methods for diagnosing sexually transmitted infections. These methods differ in specificity, sensitivity, labor intensity and cost. Experience in the treatment of sexually transmitted infections shows that laboratory diagnosis of these diseases requires an individual approach and the development of new, more informative express methods.
