When carrying out orthodontic treatment, which is accompanied by complex reactive processes, a number of complications may develop in the tissues. Moreover, each stage of treatment is associated with certain risks. Many of them can develop for various reasons not related to orthodontic treatment, but when using orthodontic appliances, the risk of their development is higher, including the risk of iatrogenic pathology. These include changes in the color of the enamel of the teeth around the braces, the formation of chalky spots and enamel defects, hyperesthesia, as well as gingivitis and local periodontitis. This requires an in-depth study.
