Features and mechanisms of development of osteoporosis in various age periods of human development (literature review)

Osteoporosis is becoming a public health problem in all countries of the world, which is associated with an increase in overall life expectancy. In this regard, we carried out a systematic literature research. A literature research was conducted at PubMed and Google Scholar for the following keywords: osteoporosis, mechanism of the developmental, and age. Based on the analysis of literature data, it seems possible to conclude that both men and women have various characteristics and mechanisms of development of osteoporosis in the age aspect.
