The problem of environmental protection from year to year does not lose its relevance. In countries with large production volumes, the government passes bills to resolve the environmental crisis. China is a rapidly developing economy with a large annual GDP growth, the share of industry is colossal. Since the end of the last century, environmental laws have been actively implemented, including bills for the protection of the atmosphere, waters, measures for protection against noise and solid waste, as well as legislative acts regarding resources. When developing new laws and policies, serious attention is paid to the problems of sustainable development. Environmental protection departments have been set up at four levels: national, provincial, city, county. China participates in international environmental cooperation, has concluded more than 30 bilateral agreements and acceded to 20 international conventions.
