Clinical effect of TAPP in the treatment of recurrent inguinal hernia

The article examines the clinical effect of TAPP in the treatment of recurrent inguinal hernia. During the study, the following results were obtained: one patient in the group with primary hernia relapsed after surgery, and in the group with recurrent hernia, there were no relapses after treatment. No statistically significant difference in relapse rate was found between the two groups (P＞0.05). The authors of the article believe that it is recommended for hernia recurrence after anterior plasty, and can also be used as an alternative treatment for recurrent hernia after posterior plasty. Thus, it was found that the effectiveness of the TAPP method for the treatment of recurrent inguinal hernias is high.
