A study of the frequency of abfraction lesions and their signs among the population of the city of Volgograd

In recent years, a large number of studies have been conducted on the development of non-carious lesions due to increased stress on the hard tissues of the teeth. We considered such pathogenetic and clinical aspects of the development of an abfraction defect as: increased tooth abrasion, bruxism, occlusion features, large occlusal load, overestimated orthopedic structures. We analyzed the relationship between the prevalence of abfraction-type pathologies and an increase in life expectancy.
